Let Super Camps elevate your stay. We can help you get the most of your time in Whistler through local merchant discounts, activity recommendations, or camp organized outings like Ziptrek.
This summer, we are introducing you to a program unlike any other. Combined with the teaching of precision skating and smart transition games, we believe our process is essential to the development of your child.
Our method of skating will help develop a better understanding of efficient skating. We will be teaching the set-up and layout of the skate blade with the use of our number system: 1s, 2s, 3s, and 4s. With this learnt knowledge, we will then be working on balance, edges, stops, and turns, both forwards and backwards. By the improvement of skating, players will come out with a better comprehension of efficient skating, leading them towards more personal success.
Our smart transitional games will also help develop a better understanding of hockey IQ. These untraditional and unseen games will involve battle, competition, and what we like to call a “spartan mentality.” These games include 1-on-1, 2-on-1, 2-on-2, Spartan’s Box, Shooting Square, Super Square, and many more.
“I believe skating is the most important weapon in hockey. You can have great hands, shot and hockey IQ but if you can’t skate your potential will always be limited. I have worked with a lot of skating coaches over my career and I can honestly say I’m excited to bring one of the best to Whistler this summer. His name is Patrick Puddifant. Pat’s attention to detail when it comes to edge work and skating technique is arguably the best in the world. He has worked with some of the best skaters in the NHL and teaches some of the most progressive and technically advanced edge work that will transfer over into game situations. Working with Pat is going to improve and empower players to skate faster and more efficiently. Our vision for this camp is to combine Pat’s skating expertise with fun and challenging drills, also using smart transitional Games to help each player reach their full potential.” - Jay Beagle
We hope you will all come with open-minded mentalities for our out-of-the-box methods. We are extremely excited and committed to watching and aiding the development of your children this upcoming summer.
Thank you,
Jay Beagle and Patrick Puddifant

"I am a stickhandling specialist with a deep passion for understanding skills deeply. If there are 2 things I'm most passionate about, it's the game of hockey, and the work ethic it takes to get as good as you can at something. I've studied talent generation across all fields, and I am honoured to be in a position to pass on my knowledge to the next generation of hockey players.
Stickhandling was something I just loved to do. I formed an obsession with it at an early age after watching guys like Pavel Datsyuk dominate the league with his display of stickhandling brilliance. The rules of the game have changed to allow more skill to shine through, and we are starting to see creative displays of stickhandling brilliance on a day to day basis in the NHL and across all the semi-pro and minor hockey leagues. There are a lot of power skating coaches out there, but there need to be more stickhandling specialists. Skating and stickhandling complement each other, and it should never be one or the other. No matter what your position, you should want to feel confident with the puck out there."
Now everyone has access to Pavel Barber. See his camp selection below:
